About Me

Hello! I'm Brian and I’m from Fermoy, a town in Cork, Ireland. I fell in love with the outdoors through Scouts; hiking and camping at every opportunity. When I went to the University of Limerick this took on new meaning as I found whitewater kayaking. That new passion focused my life and opened pathways I hadn't imagined, with trips to Uganda, India, Zambia and around Europe. Since starting work as a mechanical engineer in 2017 I've filled my time with paddling, hiking, camping, running, triathlon and just getting out exploring. I’ve probably slept a combined year of my life in tents and I’m lucky that most of them have been pretty incredible places.
